Remembering the days of grays…
Triosphere recently returned back home after doing the Days of Grays tour with Sonata Arctica (FI) and Labyrinth (IT) – so far the biggest and most successful tour in the band’s history, in every aspect. Another amazing journey through Europe, filled with great memories and a lot of new friends and fans!
The tour started off in France this time, and during the weeks of the tour Triosphere also played in Spain, England, Scotland, Wales, Germany and The Netherlands. It’s always an incredible feeling when the venue is totally packed already for the supporting bands, and we can honestly say that every single show on this tour was a fantastic experience! We played in new cities, even new countries, and all of them just as amazing as the other.

This video shows how incredible the audience were on this tour, a big thanks to everyone who attended our shows on this tour, we’ll be back to shake it up some more!
We also have to say that the guys in Sonata Arctica were absolutely amazing and showed us their best every night, and they even showed us that we “need some Vodka” too! Hopefully our paths meet again, the band, the crew and everybody made it to the top every single day and were fantastic people. And of course we had superb bus companions with Labyrinth, which gave us happy days with Italian wine and cheese, and good conversations!
Triosphere confirmed for Metal Female Voices Fest IX
More great news for our European fans! Triosphere will perform at this year’s FMVF in October (Belgium). This is going to be one hell of a festival with the very best of female voices the metal scene worldwide has to offer!
The confirmed line-up so far is: Therion, Doro, Diabulus In Musica, Stream Of Passion, Deadlock, Amaranthe, Trail Of Tears, Leaves Eyes, System Divide, Draconian, Midnattsol, Hanging Doll, Visions Of Atlantis, Nemhain, Echoterra, Benedictum, Operatika, Bare Infinity, Triosphere and Kivimetsan Druidi.
No time to waste, get your tickets now!
MFVF is a Metal festival dedicated to the female singers, existing since 2003. It takes place every year in Belgium, and since a few years at Oktoberhallen in Wieze. Success of the festival cames from its unique concept, but also from bands’ appearances, like Epica, Nightwish, After Forever, Tarja, Leave’s Eyes and many others.
Triosphere confirmed for European tour with Crimson Glory
It is with great pleasure that Triosphere can announce that they will be joining the legendary Crimson Glory as support on their European gigs in april/may 2011! Crimson Glory was one of Ida Haukland’s biggest influences when she first started out in metal, both bass and vocalwise, and 2011 will be the year when Europe finally gets to see them live!
This will be Triosphere’s first European tour since the release of the much accalimed new album “The Road Less Travelled“, and we can’t wait to hit the road and perform it for all of you!
We recommend EVERYONE (be it heavy/extreme metal heads or AOR-rockers) to take this very rare oportunity to check out one of the most sincere and extraordinary bands of the 80′ and 90′ and at the same time get to see one of the modern heavy metal-scenes most hardworking new bands! We’re coming soon to a stage near YOU, and we’ll do our very best to make this an evening well worth your time!
Hope to see all of you on the road finally travelled!
Among modern kings and brutal legends
A grand invitation for unleashing the metal machinery upon the bleeding ears of Europe has once again arrived to Triosphere – this time from none other than the Tyrant itself! We’re of course talking about the kings of melodic death metal, namely ARCH ENEMY and their Roots of Evil European tour! What an honour! And if this wasn’t enough, the headliners will be accompanied by German thrash metal legends DESTRUCTION!. This is truly an amazing opportunity for Triosphere, and as our hands are shivering while writing the great news we can nothing but accept the great offer to play support on this tour. Special guests from the US are also Abigail Williams – We promise our endless effort to make every concert on this tour a show you can’t miss!
See the concerts page for more details
Home sweet home
Safe back in Trondheim and still going strong after the tour, we can only say that it’s been a fantastic experience for Triosphere! A big thanks to all the guys in JORN and Pure Inc, our tourmanager and the great crew we had the pleasure of spending this time with. And of course also all you people who came to support us at all the shows, we’ll come back as soon as we can!
We’ll be updating the photo albums as we get our hands on photos from the road, so check back now and then for visual updates.
And last but not least – we’d like to wish everyone a good xmas holiday and a happy new year to come!
