TriosgearPosted 2007-October-30th

As Triosphere prepares for the road and for the recording of the new album, Silver and T.O have tested every guitaramp and effect known to man to find the ultimate solution both soundwise and for durability on the road. The rigs are now complete and the guys are ready to go.

The guitars will as always be Amfisound. Marcus will bring his signature models while T.O will bring his Amfisound Routa model.

Marcus has extended his endorsement with Engl, and will play the special edition head on the upcoming shows.

As for effects, the guys have signed an endorsement with T.C Electronics who make the absolute best state of the art guitar effects!! The weapon of choice is the G Force processor.

Thanks a lot to the guys at lyd-systemer for their excellent expertise and advise in getting the most out of the G Force.

Both the Engl and the G Force is controlled via midi by a Rocktron All Access ltd, the most versatile midi foot controller you can find.

Both Silver and T.O will also use Mipro wireless systems exclusively on the tour, thanks to Norsk Musikk Distribusjon AS for the excellent advise on those systems, they are the best!

For strings, the whole band relies on GHS, courtesy of Musikk Elektronikk AS.

Triosphere will be crossing the crimson path again, repeating last years great adventure with W.A.S.P. on the Norwegian dates of their tour! Cities visited this year includes Trondheim, Jevnaker, Bergen, Oslo and Stavanger, and few Swedish shows will be done as well.

We wanna thank everybody who came out to Southern Discomfort, and the W.A.S.P shows. Both S.D and the W.A.S.P shows were incredible for us!!! All the W.A.S.P shows were sold out, as they should be, cause W.A.S.P really is one the greatest heavy metal bands of all time!! If you want gossip or badmouthing of stars, look somewhere else, cause the way we were treated by both the band and their crew was just beyond beatiful!!! They are the greatest, we just hope we can play with them again sometime, cause it was truly an honour!

So thank you Blackie, Doug, Mike D, Mike Dupke and Danny, you are the best! If anybody has any pictures from the shows, send 'em in and we'll post 'em on the site.

Silver's custom Amfisound guitar Posted 2005-July-29th

Marcus Silver has finally gotten his new custom made Amfisound guitar. The Silversphere has active electronics, a built in gain booster, split coil neck pickup and scalloped frets.

studio activity Posted 2005-July-28th

All the backing tracks for the three new songs are done. This has been done in beetween writing new material, and playing live. The vocals and solos will be recorded as soon as Silver, Ida and producer Rune can find a mutual opening in their schedules. The band played their second gig at Fosen Rock Festival last weekend. The show was kick ass! Both Mistah Christah and Silver pulled double duty and in addition to Triosphere played with Divided Multitude and Griffin respectively. They were both totally wrecked after the show, so unfortunatelly the band didnt get a chance to show Fosen how to party Trios style. However, the band delivered the goods so well that they've already been booked for next years festival, so they'll get ya then!! A guy from the audience came up to Silver after the show and said "You guys blew me away, you're the best band of the day! But how are you able to write songs like 'Holy trinity of decadence' silver, you're a heavy metal dude, and thats a thrash metal song?!?' Silvers reply was 'We're Triosphere, we piss where we want'.. So there you got it, guess Trios doesn't care to much about being put in one spesific genre. Pictures from the show will be up in a couple of days.

photos from karmoygeddon Posted 2005-July-27th

Finally all the pics from Karmøygeddon'05 have been added to the gallery. We apologize for the delay! Triosphere would like to thank Edgar, Raymond and Yngve for giving us their photos! More news from the studio and pics from Fosen Rockfestival will be posted within a day or two. - Webmaster

Karmoygeddon 2005 Posted 2005-June-24th

Karmøygeddon is over. The festival was Triosphere's first gig ever, and what a flying fucking start!! The band played Friday 17.06.05, and the place was actually sold out! What a debut! The festival crew did an amazing job, and the band couldn't be happier about starting their live carreer at Karmøy. To quote the ever so moderate and well articulate Mr Silver "Karmøygeddon wasn't cool, it wasn't really cool, it was deathrow über fucking ninja super cool!! I hope we can play that festival again next year." After the gig, the band celebrated in true heavy metal style by getting plastered. Silver got so hammered he walked all the way home without shoes in the rain..what a true little indian.. Not being a band that sits on its ass, Triosphere is already back to work. The band entered Godt Selskap studio 22.06.05 to record three new songs. The tracks will be: "The holy trinity of decadence" (working title), "The Silver lining" and "Sunriser"
